Towards sustainable modes of urban and peri-urban food provisioning.

The project:
Until recently, short food supply chains and multifunctional agriculture were considered to be part of the rural development realm. This project looked at these topics from the perspective of urban rather than rural development.

Its results:
Consult Learning from best practices in the Global South for sustainable (peri)urban food systems in Europe at page 11 & 12 of Urban Agriculture Magazine nr 26 and the information on this website to learn about the project's objectives and its results.
